Meet Kent
Kent is a long time Whiteland resident. Kent grew up in Whiteland, attending Whiteland Elementary School, Clark Pleasant Middle School, and graduated from Whiteland Community High school in 1998. While attending school in Whiteland he participated in various sports including football, baseball, and basketball and was highly involved in FFA.

Kent is married to Leslie Beeson, also a Whiteland High School graduate. They have three sons, all whom currently attend Clark Pleasant Community schools. Kent owns a business in the heart of Whiteland, Beeson Mechanical Service, which he started at 19 years of age and has been in business 22 years now.

Kent previously served two terms on Whiteland's Town Council. During his first term, he served as President and currently serves as the CPCSC board representative for the Redevelopment Commission. Kent was previously the inaugural President of the RDC, where he helped begin the planning of TIF districts to return captured tax base to the school system.

Kent, along with his wife, developed the idea and created the first ever Greater Whiteland Community Day, and saw it through for the first 5 years. This event is an entertaining, family-oriented celebration that allows individuals access to members and businesses within the community.
